All gowns the bride tries on will have been pre-selected by her stylist and are awaiting her in her bridal suite. Pre-COVID, this experience took place in their 'maids studio, Chic by the Shore, which is a separate building from their main store.

This experience has evolved during the pandemic to taking place outdoors in their garden situated behind the boutique and adjacent to our bridesmaid studio. Since reopening, face masks and shields are the new norm, and a limit on the number of people in the salon at a given time is a mandate.

Prior to their appointment, brides receive a minute phone call, which serves as an introduction to the salon—something that used to happen in person. On the day of the appointment, the bride can bring one guest, and both must be wearing a mask.

Everyone will have their temperature taken and will be asked to use hand sanitizer. If all is well, the bride and her guests will be guided to their room where her sanitized gowns will be awaiting her.

During the appointment, brides and their guests are required to wear masks at all times, and the number of appointments is limited to one at a time to cut down on the amount of people in the salon.

When it comes to sizing, you can always check with your boutique prior to your appointment which size samples they carry in their salon.

Your stylist will be able to pin you into a gown if the sample size is large on you or add a modesty panel for more room if needed. Either way, your bridal stylist will be able to show you how your gown will look in your size and give you the best vision of what your dress would look like.

It only gets better and better. Wondering about budget? The problem is once you fall in love with something, it can be hard to look at anything else in the same way.
