It's my first time with the series but I've familiarized myself with the characters, including the cast of the first game, which I haven't played.
Now, while playing campaign, I noticed the large majority were DLC. At first I thought you had to buy each one separately but after a little researching I realized it was only 3 packs, each containing a good chunk of content, especially Cold Stream. The price is also very fair, at , which is quite the steal. Considering I haven't played the first game, the ports of the first campaigns are ideal. I have my eye on getting some DLC, though at this point I'm not exactly sure which ones.
I was thinking of Cold Stream, since it seems the most content heavy, or The Passing for access to mutations, but it seems that only contains one campaign, unless I'm mistaken. I don't care about difficulty, I want to know which one has the most value. Which one is being played the most online?
I'd hate to get one of the DLC's and then find out everybody is always playing the other one. That's all the important stuff. I've also been playing Team Fortress 2 a lot lately. The trick is to use the drugs once to get there, and maybe spend the next ten years trying to get back there without the drug. I heard the latest one comes with 4 of the maps from Left 4 Dead 1. And I think The Passing comes with a mission with the cast from the first game and the cast from the second game at the same time.
Not sure how it works though Now on the serious side, if there is a DLC that would allow you to get the original maps from the first game, I would go with that. I still find No Mercy really fun, along with all the other "classic" maps. I know I know and I've been told a million times but my computer is a piece of shit that can't even run Team Fortress 2 so Xbox is my only option okay?
At least, on PC they are. I think the Passing was the most fun DLC map though. I think it was DLC, at least. But nobody plays it on PC. SteamID : Fetus. I've tried running TF2 on my computer a few months ago and it was so laggy it was impossible for me to play anything. I only got a little way through the tutorial before one part of it was too much for my computer to handle and it lagged to the point of not being able to do shit. I tried Left 4 Dead 2 a while ago and my computer can't even handle the graphics.
